Shopping/Pure Charity/Adler Family

Hey there! Did you know you can SHOP through Pure Charity and benefit the Adlers? Well, you can. I asked Janell to fill me in on how and this is what she said...

When they sign up through our links, they will become a part of our advocate network and will then be able to see who all the partner websites are to shop through. When they click on the shopping cart icon they can look through a TON of shopping sites like groupon, Expedia, toys r us, disney store, best buy and lots more! Each one donates a certain percentage of their purchase into their pure charity donation account. They can either download the tool bar thing (pretty fancy term, eh? Lol) and that will pop up whenever they are On a site that donates, or they can browse through the shopping cart tab in pure charity. So long as they click through the website to shop or on the toolbar button when it pops up, it will automatically work after they check out. 

I did it with a groupon I bought recently to see how it would work. A couple days after I checked out (I honestly think it was as long it takes to process a credit card payment) they had placed the money in our donation account. I did get an email letting me know the money was available too! All I had to do was go onto our fundraiser page and clicked on the "back this fundraiser" button. I only donated what was placed in my account, but you can opt to do more as well!

New Family! Sanders Family on Pure Charity!

His adoption process is being expedited because he needs heart surgery.  Can you help them out?  You can donate and watch a super cute video right over there under their picture -- I love watching the thermometer climb during the week!
The Sanders have adopted before (2 boys last year!) and have a large family that is ready for Mason to come home! I love big families--don't you? They just seem like a lot of fun.
This is a picture of little Mason learning that he has a family:) I do believe I see a former G1S1Asia mama (Randi Lanz) in the background! They sent a photo album and letter for him to learn about their family.  Isn't he the cutest little guy?

First Pure Charity Family! Meet the Shepard Fam!

Hey, hey, hey! I'm so excited to welcome our first Pure Charity family to our blog.  Daniel and Jenna Shepard are adopting a sweet little girl from China.  The Shepards have a son and daughter and are excited to welcome another little girl into their family! Go meet them and leave them a dollar or 2 as  congratulations!

Waiting Stinks

Hey friends.....I hope all is well! No family on our page this week, but definitely check out the rest of the Give1Save1 pages.  And, if you haven't signed up on Pure Charity, do it! To fundraise or give, you'll need a page.

We've been matched with our daughter for over and year.  Someone asked me today if the waiting was getting the best of me.  Honestly, yes.  Some days, it's rough.  It will happen, we will travel and she will come home.  But, man, the wait is tough!  If you have friends or family in that long wait, take it from me.....they may be going a little crazy. And take it from me again, they know it! So, I'll apologize for all of us.  Sorry we're losing our minds! We want our babies home! To all of you waiting mamas, (and daddies) I hear ya! To all of our supporters, friends and family, thanks for the love:)
